The every day ramblings, occasional grumblings, and healthy pinch of randomness of a (professional multi-tasking) woman (who has a lot of hair, is preTTy silly and prone to falling down and busting up her right ankle, specifically), loves a very tall man, with four plus two children, some black dogs, a llama in the backyard (not really), and an (almost to default) "glass is always FULL" attitude (of which she will promptly dribble down the front of her shirt).

Friday's Foto Finish Fiesta
This is a favorite picture of mine on so many levels. My dad and my girls. I've known for 35 years how important this guy is to me. How much I've needed him. I love to see this love of mine look up at my dad, in my own girls eyes. I love to see that my dad is one of their favorite people too.

They are lucky to have them! Does he always dress that sharp just to go fishing? Very handsome ;)
Thanks, Carrie! Yes, he does always dress this sharp for fishing. You just reminded me of something I need to blog about. Ha ha...Here's a hint...My dad, Texas, September and wool.
Thanks for the comment. I've been having MAJOR comment withdrawl.
That is very sweet and very special and you are lucky to have pictures for later in life.
Having a great dad may be one of the most defining factors in the woman I am today.
One of my biggest attractions to CM (besides the muscles and all over hotness) was the fact that I knew he would be a great dad...And, I was right.
It is a treasured thing, for sure! Grandads. I wish ours were a bit closer to us, that way my kids would get to spend more time. Great photo!
That is so sweet. My kids just LOVE my dad as well.
Awwwww...that is SO sweet!! I'm glad you recognize and treasure a wonderful thing when you see it!
I hear ya! I LOVE photos of my dad and my son just being together and playing and such. Wonderful photo and so heartwarming to see a Grandpa spending time with his little girl's girls. :)
jwilson--I'm a picture taking fool! I want my kiddos to remember this stuff too. So important.
Mrs. Romero--I tell my dad this all the time. I want it to sink in that he did good. He. Did. Good.
I saw the same thing in my hubby too. I saw a future. And he flipping cracks me up. Even when I'm mad at him.
lex the mom--we've just moved closer within the last year, so I think this is the first time my dad has really probably felt like a grandpa. He's pretty good at it!
susan-- I just love watching them together. It's incredible to me.
kathy--I'm a sentimental girl, to be sure! ;D
sarah jewel--I love it too. It's really a gift, isn't it?
