I'm (Pretty Much) A Good Girl

Right off the bat, I have to say, I've got the guilt. For my last post. The "H" word. I know in the grand scheme of things, it's nothing, but then there's the bigger than grand scheme of things...the day I'm gonna have to answer to the Big Guy. We'll go over more than a few things from my life. Things I coulda/woulda/shoulda done better and the "H" word is gonna come up. He won't say it out loud though. I know that much is true. He won't even have to tell me. I'll be all, " I know, I know...I screwed up. OOPS. I mean...I messed up. I'll just go to my room now." He'll give me that look only a Father can give. And I'm gonna feel bad. But then again, stacked up next to All The Other Stuff I did that wasn't so classy all my life, maybe the "H" word will be an after thought. Oh yeah...the "H" word...we don't say that here.

Just had to get that out. The blog is therapy AND confession. And so many other things.

Next up. My girls. We had the dance recital this past weekend and my girls do rock the stage. They do, they do. They like it up there. My little one was all tutu'd out. She doesn't know it yet, but she's a natural. She still at that stage though where she is a little more concerned that everyone else is "doing it right", than you know...doing it right herself. There was a point where they were all supposed to get in line and there were like three little tutu's that forgot and my girl was all about instructing them on stage of where they were supposed to be. When she wasn't busy making sure everyone was doing their part, she was spot on. Her arabesque's tip top.

O was serious. She doesn't mess around with the dancing. Which is good to see, cuz she is quite the squirrel in real life. They danced to Breaking Free (yes, HSM) and it was really a beautiful dance. There were leaps, and twirls and tip toe things. She is pretty graceful. That does not come from me. But I love to see it on her. She's the youngest in her class, and she kept up with the big girls. She's got it in her. I'm so glad. I really want the dance to be something my girls love all their lives. But if they take up the drums or you know, micro-biology, that's cool too. Okay, not as cool. But I'll pretend.

I'm still doing the Jazzercise. Aren't you proud of me? I actually go almost every single day. They (act like they) miss me when I'm not there. I can tell it's working too. IT'S WORKING. And I don't think it's a bad thing at all that I practice Jazzercise moves at home. Not at all.

We finished our Dave Ramsey class last night. I'm gonna miss that guy. We learned a lot. I really could use his number on speed dial though. So if anyone feels like sharing, that would be great.

The fact that I'm making several returns today, because I figured I was spreading the Christmas joy a little too much, has nothing to do with Dave. Okay, it totally does. Totally. And hopefully, the people who I'm returning gifts for, read this and understand that...Dave made me do it.

And here's a fun little survey thingy I got last night from my mother-in-law!! Who never does these things. In fact, I'm reading her answers and I'm still questioning whether or not she did it in real life! But I love these things, so here goes.

Ahhhh the girls look so cute! Jonathan has been in Ballet and tap in the past but right now he's taking a Hip-Hop dance class and his recital is Saturday. I'll post about it of course. He wants to take tap again next year.

I'm giggling that you feel so uncomfortable about saying that word! I HATE that word so I feel your pain.

Sharon--A-girl is taking Hip Hop next. She's excited. I want her to take ballet or tap again, but she wants to try the hip to the hop...

Tell Jonathan GOOD LUCK!

DysFUNctional Mom--yeah, it was really something I actually wrote that out and like many times...really something. I usually don't type such things out loud. :)
